We took a family vacation to Great Wolf Lodge in Lagrange, Georgia & we had the best time! It is a water park resort and you never have to leave the resort! What I Love about this resort is that everything is all in one place! There were a few things I forgot of course & they had it in the shopping center where I was able to grab it!
During Halloween, Great Wolf Lodge has the resort all decked out & the kids have so many activities to do while you stay there! We were able to go trick-or-treating every night! There was fun dance parties in the lobby as well! All the decorations were so fun & spooky and my kids loved it! We had fun just looking at all the decorations that I know took so much time decking the whole resort out! From the water park, arcade, bowing, rope course, eating, decorations, & fun activities, you will never want to leave!
What we loved about the resort was the water park! My boys had so much fun & I loved how the water park is great for all ages! They had smaller slides for smaller kids and then they had the big water bucket area that was fun where the big water bucket dropped every few minutes! They also had a wave pool that was so much fun! they had a lazy river and they had big slides for the whole family! All four of us even went on a huge tube & it was so much fun! They also had a outdoor pool that was huge as well! Zeke said that was the “BEST DAY EVER!” Even Traxton had fun crawling all over the water park as well! I also loved how the life guards were watching each place like a hawk! They were standing up the whole time and walking back and forth to make sure that nothing happened! I think this is a must when there is so many kids around so much water, it makes you feel much safer when the lifeguards are really on guard!
Let’s talk about the food! You will find food places at every corner you walk too! We ate at every place & I would say it was very good food! You have fine dining, pizza, basket type food, ice cream, & donuts! Even your picky eater will find something to eat at this resort!
We also loved how big the rooms are and depends on which room you get, I would highly recommend getting the room with buck beds! We had enough room for Zeke and Traxton (which he was in a pack-n play) and there was still plenty of room inside their! We had a mini refrigerator as well which was a plus keeping some food cold for the kids!
For us, this will be a trip we go to every year! We are already talking about going back next year & we loved how everything was right there in the resort. Normally on vacations, I get pretty stressed out but when I got home, I told my husband, this has been a vacation that I was not stressed about. I honestly think because everything was right there & if we forgot something we could go right back up to the room! If you looking to get away for a weekend, I would highly recommend going to Great Wolf Lodge! They have them all over the USA so you can find one near you!
