We celebrated Traxton’s 1st Birthday in August & I am shocked that I still have a one year old! The year flew by so quick and before I knew it, I was planning Traxton’s 1st birthday party! I wanted a beach ball themed party & I think I nailed it! We had it outside and we had the waterslide for the kids!
When I plan birthday parties, I try to stay within my budget & I buy items a few months before the party so its not all at once!
I always buy all of my paper goodies from Wholesale Party Supplies and they really do have the best prices !
We also have to have balloons and I got to do a partnership with a local company here in Alabama called Top Knot Parties and she makes the cutest balloons that you have ever seen!
She made a really cute balloon arch for his party & added beach balls too it which made it super fun! Top Knot Parties also has these really cute mosaic numbers that she can fill up with balloons too! I think adding balloons are such a great way to add a pop of color to a party!
Now let’s talk about the cake! The cake was jaw dropping & the beach ball cake was so cute! Whisk Confections makes some of the yummiest cakes I have ever tasted! She also made some cake balls that were so good too! Not to mention, her prices are fantastic!
I also did a partnership treats with Pretzelwich NYC and they were so yummy! They were pretzels with marshmallow cream in between them dipped in different toppings! Talk about yumminess!
I also made a fruit tray in a beach ball which was super easy & fun!
Parties can be stressful & I always try and remember why I am having it & its for my kids! Parties can be expensive too but just remember that your kids will love what you do no matter what kind of cake & food you have!
